Increasingly often, clients expect your company to monitor the freight. Have a look at the solutions offered by the Platform.

After you accept an order sent to you by the client (shipper or forwarder), a monitoring task will be created automatically. You can now decide whether to accept or reject this task. Accepting it means that both you and your client will be able to monitor the freight.

Now complete the missing data. The choice of the telematics signal source will depend on the provided details of the driver and vehicle. Determining the telematic signal source is crucial because it will enable you to receive reliable information about the freight.

The monitoring task will be automatically activated 30 minutes before the loading takes place. From now on, you will receive regular updates about the freight – the information will be passed to you via automatically updated statuses.

If something unexpected happens on the route, you will receive an alert along with a brief description of the type of event, as well as the information about the current delay.

You can see a detailed list of events in a new window, where you will also find information regarding all activities related to the transport.

You can view key events, such as unloading, on the map – with just one glance you can check the situation on the vehicle’s route. You can choose the type of events displayed on the map.

You can also add monitoring tasks manually by filling in the form. This time, it is the client who has to accept the task, that is why a “Waiting for a response” status is displayed.

At the completion of delivery, the monitoring task’s status is automatically changed to “Finished”. After the completion has been confirmed by the client, it is moved to the Archive.

You now know how to monitor freight. Check out other Platform features which can help you in your daily work.
